Greetings from the Bayou City

Hello SRP members! I bought a new shave ready straight razor a few months back. It was professionally honed by Lynn. It is a beautiful tool, and I love having it on a stand where I can just look at it and admire the craftsmanship that went into it. I tried making one pass down my cheek with it, but it was pulling on the hairs and not cutting very good, so I haven't used it since. I enjoyed reading C. Moss's book, and that's how I ended up here. There is so much information here, and I am trying to read all the stuff that has been written for beginners like me. Thank you very much! -bongojoel

My first try with a straight razor was discouraging, and this website is complicated to navigate, so I dropped off and have been shaving with my old trusty safety razor.
Houston, Texas has been referred to as the "Bayou City" for many years. Recently it is simply called, H-Town. Who won the Superbowl? Who Dat? -bongojoel
