Well, just north of Memphis. I just wanted to stop in and introduce myself. I have been a lurker for some time now. There is alot of great info on here, but I have many questions that I will be asking later.

I think you are right Paco. Hi my name is Shannon "SLICKYINC". I really like straight razors. I just made my first purchase of one. Its a Geo. H. Weyer. Made by Henckels Im assuming. Any way im on here to learn all I can about the art. Thanks
Welcome to SRP. Ask away when you have your questions figured out. Until then read the beginner's guide in the link in my sig line and get that razor pro honed before you shave with it. :gl:
Thanks, you can go to the WIKI and get a lot of info in the beginners section just about everything you need to know to get started.
Get the shaving angle and stropping down first, also the face prep. I would stick with that for about a month before getting into other areas of straights. Don't get too many irons in the fire if you will. GOOD LUCK and Happy shaving :)
Welcome to SRP...Glad to have you aboard.
Check out the SRP wiki. It's chock full of useful information about the purchase, care, etc. of str8 razor.
As for your Boker Red Injun RAD...Check out the SRP Classifieds. They pop up there for sale every once in a while.
BTW...I just got a vintage NOS Red Injun there about two weeks ago. Still had the manufacturer's tag on it. Its a really sweet shaver.
