Another newbie joins the throng

Hi everyone,

been shaving with a straight razor on and off for a few years now. I seem to get right into it until my razor goes dull then leave it for a few months until I remember to get it to the barber.

Looking to start getting set up to sharpen my own razors and restore some of the older ones I have lying around.

I have to admit, when I dont shave properly I miss it. Its a ritualistic experience that is pure indulgence. Kind of a nice way to start the day too.
