Thread: Oldtime From Rochester,NY

Hello Gents:
My Name is Andrew AKA Oldtime, I chose oldtime because I'm a firm believer in what our founding fathers believed (enough on that).
I live in Upstate NY about 80 miles south of Toronto Canada in a town called Rochester or some like to say Rottenchester :-) actually I'm 27 miles west of Rochester away from the City life.
I have an Old ERN that I acquired from a guy I work with, he said it was his father in laws. I am in the process of honing the dings out of the blade. It's rather difficult for 1 it's my first Straight Razor and 2nd the Spine is kinda warn down, so being a beginner I'm not sure if the angle is correct. I am very much a self taught person and pretty stubborn in this area but at the same have very thick skin and can take just about any criticism.
I spent some time in the Marines and some time after the Marines on special security details, now I live the Simple life with my wife and 4 children.
Well thats me in a nut shell Nice to meet everyone here, I'll be firing off a ton of questions so please bear with me.
