    Default A Whole New World

Hello out there, I am thinking of switching over from my Gillette Fusion, to the straight edge world.

I need help on what would be a good "starter kit" for me to use, since I am in college I do not have $200 bucks to drop on a new hobby.

In addition for the people who are pros at this, please give me any advice that would help

    Thanks

    Welcome to SRP

Looks like reading the SRP WIKI Beginners' Guide and Lynn's advice for the beginner is in order.

There is a lot of gear available within your range, but what to get is a decision you need to make for yourself...

Starting out doesn't need to cost $200. A shave-ready razor from whipped dog will run you about $30. A beginner strop is $20, and the shave brush and soap are $15 from Walgreens. This will give you a taste of what to expect and then when you're ready, you can drop more cash into it.
