Greetings from the (cold) Great White North
Hey guys,
I'm super excited about getting into SE shaving, I'm 22 now and i've been shaving with what I thought was the best equipment possible (disposable garbage) for about 10 or so years now (yes I'm a hairy beast), and I've always wondered why after so many years of practice I still get consistent razor burn and irritation.
I literally had a dream one night where I was shaving with a straight..I must have been watching an old movie or something and it crept into my subconsciousness :p
I woke up the next morning and started researching this beautiful art.
Aside from giving you the best shave experience possible, it's just so much more badass and masculine, and hankers back to a simpler time when real men's men prevailed. I really dig that.
I ordered all the stuff (I picked up a S.E. Droescher from the SRP classifieds) that I need, and waiting for it to brave its way through our Canadian winter to arrive so I can start.
Just thought I'd say hi, since I'm probably going to be posting a lot more soon :)
