Thanked: 2New to Straights
I've been a wet shaver all my shaving life except for a brief year when I tried an electric... Anyway, I'm 33 and have only ever used a cartridge type disposable system until this past December when I got my first DE safety razor. I've become interested in straight razors as of late and made my first purchase, a used Waterville Cutlery razor from an antique shop here in CT. I'm in the process of getting it cleaned up and honed.
I look forward to spend some time on these forums and learning through the wealth of knowledge that must already be on these boards and through additional interaction with others as necessary.
Thanks,
McP

Welcome to SRP, great to have you on board.
This is the place for all things regarded straight razors, and all that goes with it
If you have not already, I would suggest you look thru the WIKI.
It is a great resource and will help you get going a lot faster.
Good luck with your first straight shave
If any questions should arise(!), just ask, and you will see that the fine members on here will try their hardest to help you out!Bjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

Welcome aboard! If you make it through the first two weeks, you'll be fine. If you don't, the cartridge monster will get you.

Well, then you're good to go! Just remember to sleep with your DE under your pillow, but take the blade out first.
