    Default Hello from Boerne, TX

Hey, My name is Dow, and I'm interested in learning to use a straight razor. I've been wet shaving (although with a cartridge razor, most recently a Mach3) for about 12 years or so. Wouldn't go back to shaving cream for anything in the world.

Anyway, looks like there's a gob of stuff to learn around here.

    Thanks,
    Dow

    Hi Dow, welcome to SRP.

You have come to the right place for learning all about straight razor shaving!
As you have been wet shaving for so long you are off to a head start in this game

Feel free to ask away, and do peruse the various treasures of info that is already on here.
The members on here are as knowledgeable as they are friendly, and will surely help in any way they(we) can

A couple of the links in my sig line would be a great way to start, do check them out. I found those very useful when starting out.

    Good luck mate

LOL I used to live in hurst by Bell Helecopter before I moved and worked at Arlington Memorial. Now the only time I usually get up that way is for Army in Seagoville. I have to be there this weekend but usually when I have my military obligation I'm Uber busy as Cmdr of the unit.

From what I hear, your soldiers have exhibited a shocking lack of discipline lately. You need to burn their ass to teach them a lesson. 300 soldiers... no problem! Just bring plenty of yard work tools with you.
