    Default Gidday from Downunder

    Hi from New Zealand. I have wet shaved and used double edge razors for years although decent blades are hard to find here now. I have had my straight razors since I was 13. I bought them at a vintage car swap meet. Finally I have had them properly honed (the first attempt was rubbish) and have started using them. This is an interesting experience now as I have had numerous eye surgeries but so far no cuts. My wife thinks I'm mad but I already new that.

    Hopefully you'll find lots of info here that will help you out. Probably though, since you've wet shaved for a while, you've got some of the concepts down pat.
