Thread: Happy to be back!

I'm definitely not a newcomer, but I am finally back to shaving with a straight after being forced to take a 2-year break. After a motorcycle accident, I got a seriously large blood clot in my left thigh. The doctors put me on the blood thinner Coumadin, so every time I nicked myself, it took hours for the bleeding to stop. I switched to a double edge safety razor until the clot receeded and they took me off the blood thinner. I'm happy to say that it did not take any time at all to get my technique back. I didn't even have to resort to the red towels. I have nine razors in my rotation, and every one of them is like an old friend. Life is great today. The woman who made the left hand turn in front of me bought me 2007 KLR650. I just finished repairs on the 1996 Sportster I crashed and put it up for sale. Two weeks ago I bought a 2000 Harley Superglide that rides like an orgasm! When I get up each morning, not only do I have a choice of razors, I also get to choose what motorcycle I want to ride to work. Can't beat that!

Welcome back and glad to here you are better. Sounds like a great way to start your day. You should have had her buy you a few more razors while she was at it.
