What type of razor did you get?
Keep in mind how different knife sharpening is, from razors.
dont do what i did, get gifted a set and try to hone a blunt razor on a natural sharpening stone (i think someone said the one i got is around 2000 grit)
i must have tried to sharpen that thing for hours and hours till it stopped snagging when shaving (not very smooth at moment either, need to get it honed properly or buy "shave ready"
