A tip of the hat from Toronto, to you good sirs!
Hello, gentleman. I'm Hasan and you can find me in your local watering hole- so long as that watering hole is in downtown Toronto and carries some great beer. I have been peering through these forums for some light information over the past couple months and came to appreciate the fact that it was high time i start from the top with a fresh look at the art of a good shave. Since the age of 15 I regularly treated myself to a proper straight razor shave at the hands of a barber. It was my vacation every 3 to 4 months, my personal treat, and my most meditative undertaking. Now, over a decade later i want it to be my own ability, and my own private meditation. there is something deeply attractive to me of the simplicity and craft found in the build and maintenance of a good blade. I recently became the fortunate new owner of a Boker red injun. i want this blade to be a new family tradition- for me, for my son, for his son, someday.
