Hello! Swede joining you now
Hello there, just got my first few razors this last week, because of Birnando, he's not good for my wallet.
So here's my first razor, it shaves really clean and it's just wonderfully, didn't think you'd get this kind of quality steel and razor for that amount of money:
Amazon.com: Neca - Sweeney Todd réplique 1/1 rasoir: Sports & Outdoors
Just kidding.. i wish i'd kept to one razor. But no, i had to go and start with 5 straight razors.. because why try with one before you start collecting.. no no..
I've bought two C.V Heljestrand's MK24's, different scales, one that i'd consider very good condition, but not mint. And one that i'd consider mint and unused but has some signs of the storage, very small though.
Two J.A Hellbergs, only gotten one of them so far. It's in pretty good condition but needs some small time on stones to fix a small deformation in the edge.
And one SSA in complete mint and unused condition.. this feels like a good start for me, and if i don't like them, well, then you'll have some Swedish steel for sale.
I'll have to take Birnando up on his offer to make these shave-ready because i don't have stones fit for straight razors. My stones are for kitchen knives.. something i'll have to invest in after the strop. And then i need a good brush.. I've stropped my kitchen-knives on cardboard with paste and newspaper when i've stropped them, mostly i just finish them on my Atagoyama Tomae, that Birnando was so kind to give me! But that's probably too soft for straight razors.

And well, a short, short story about me: I'm Daniel, i'm 19 and i'm a chef. I'm also into kitchen cutlery, headphones and computers, as far as hobbies are concerned.
