The HESS should give you good service also. The company that made them for HESS was known for very good steel and finishing. I have one that has a ;lot more hone wear and I have sharpened it and the edge is holding well. Clauss was no slouch whatsoever. I like the razors of both brads because, once honed properly, they hold an edge for a loooonnng time if stropped properly.
