Greetings from the north Georgia mountains

Hey, y'all. I'm Tom, and I just ordered my first SR. Well, technically it's my second. I bought a nice Dovo back when I was in college. (Early '80s) Bad experience all around. I tried to shave with that thing for a couple of weeks then gave up. 30 years later we have the internet, so I know now that it was not "shave ready" out of the box, and that my stropping technic made it worse instead of better. I been wet shaving with DEs and SEs for a year now, and it's time to step up to an SR. So now it's time to start spending way too much time in here, until my razor gets here!
