Hello from Austria
Hello,
my name is Ulrik and i come from Austria, more precise, from lower Austria. I am a custom knife an razor maker. I started my business just with "normal" knives, especially kitchenknives but was invited to a german wet shaving Forum. This was somehow a turning point and made me specialise on razors. Since then i am also "infected" with the wet shaving virus and i started buying a lot of hardware and software;) Not always to the joy of my girlfriend...
From time to time i will post some pictures of my older already sold razors and i think that i can contribute to the forum with informations on metallurgy, steels, restauration and such stuff.
I am happy to be here.
cheers,
Ulrik

Hi Ulrik, welcome to the forum. It's great to have you here.
When can we see those razors?
-
Hello Ulrik,
very nice to meet you round here!
-
Greetings Ulrik. Glad to have you here and welcome your insights on the art & science of straight razor making.
You will add to the knowledge base provided by other straight razor craftsmen already here at SRP.
-
Thank you for the warm welcome!
@Frankenstein:I will post one of my razors later in the custom buildt section.
@Rori: Nice to see a familiar face.
@jhenry: I will try my best to add some more knowledge. But it seems to be a hard task, because what i have already seen browsing through the forum ist astonishing. There are realy extremly talented craftsmen here!
cheers,
Ulrik

Welcome Ulrikto the SRP, Many straight razor collectors are often knife enthusiasts, I was looking at a vintage straight razor a while back made from Austrian Pheonix E.V.H steel, I was very tempted to buy,
