Oh, and Dopp
I've got one I've had since the 1970s. Sits in a closet, the zipper quit working years ago, and I don't really keep anything in it because I don't travel. If I did travel it would be about like Mcbladescar keeps in his.
I often travel to where there is no pharmacy, so on top of the usuals I also bring a long list of OTC drugs and my prescription. As a result I have two dopp bags. Plus my other things like strops so my toiletry bags is a small backpack like high school kids have for book bags.
Weird, even though I shave with a straight razor, I find Dopp kits too retro. I use gallon freezer bags to separate all travel stuff of the Dopp kit genre.
I was wondering about the word: "The name derives from early 20th century leather craftsman Charles Doppelt, whose company designed the case in 1919.[1] While the case is named after Doppelt, it appears that the case was actually designed by Doppelt's nephew, Jerome Harris."[2]
So rightfully it is a Harr Kit.....:p

I still use this arraignment however with flying I tend to bring only the essentials and forgo the razor due to carry on requirements. The TSA can be a real drag.
