That is literally about the same size as one of my front panniers! Quite the kit.

I like Tims idea, there's gonna be members along your path, should a emergency arrive. Set it up just right, you wouldn't even need to take a straight, use theirs.
Just thinking..
My whole shave kit in my bikes is no bigger than a pair of socks rolled up, fact is it’s in the socks rolled up
It would be great to meet up with members along the way and borrow a fresh straight and a get a hot shower! I think logistically it would be difficult with the limitations and uncertainty of traveling on a bicycle.
I will be traveling through the following states; California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado (Jerry's a bit too far north, dang it), Kansas, MO, Kentucky, West Virginia, and finally Virginia.
Back to the shave kit. I'm taking one razor, my faithful traveling companion from Outback; Geneva Cutlery, got to be Made in the USA for this journey. I bought the Dovo travel strop (love it) and will take a CrOx crayon for touch ups. I decided not to get a synthetic brush and will take my usual traveler, a Best Badger from Edwin Jaeger. Franken-cream (I had gotten a bunch of cream samples from a member and after sampling, blended them together, great lather) and witch hazel.
I think I should be good but am prepared to adapt as needed.
Trepidation is a good thing, right?
That sounds like an awesome trip, I'm envious! Are you planning on posting SOTD photos along the way? I hope so!
