Chair is a bit of a Frankenstein. (I only paid 250 bucks) The chair itself is a Koch from the early 1920s. The foot rest has been replaced with a Koken foot rest. It does have a cool Universal head rest what has a paper roll holder and cutter.

Very nice! Love the style of old barber chairs.
I restored a 20's Koken years back . I am not mechanically inclined so it was a big challenge for me but when it was sorted I felt sky high. Complete disassembly was with a medium size $10 Stanley wrench from Walmart. The hydraulics I found a fellow to repair . The upholstery I took to a small shop and they had a red synthetic pleather that was right . As with all old chairs the nickel was a challenge. The nickel I used WD40 and fine steel wool and it came out better than expected. The nickel is the challenge with the old chairs because the cost of plating is expensive. If you have a friend at a car plating shop , that would be problem solved .
