I find it amusing how guys long and pine for those scents of yesteryear which in many ways were terrible stuff. I remember going to barbers in the 1950s for haircuts and the first thing I did when I got home is wash off the scents the best I could. Lillac Vegetal has always been a barber favorite. They bought it by the gallon for pennies and it was very popular stuff until the FDA found out it was a potent rodent poison killing on contact-Har har:)
