    6" Buffer

    can i use the standard buffer for greaseless compounds, or do i need to buy diffent wheels and where can i get the compounds

    You'll need a different wheel for each compound. You can get wheels and compound from Caswell plating.
    With that buffer you should use 4" wheels.

    Search threads here to see what other people use for wheels and compounds.

    I use 4" sewn wheels with greaseless up to 600 grit. I also have various other wheels and polishing bars that I never use. I prefer to sand with micromesh after the 600 grit compound.

    Other people do it different.
