It's okay... we'll let you make us each a strop as penance. :deal: :D
Seriously, I absolutely love your setup... In fact, maybe it's a good thing you double posted, since the other thread has more pics!

Thank you for your kind words. A Strop is all you want? Let me get back to you on that. :w
I have had several guys ask me about what it takes to make one. I am thinking about posting he tool and material list on the forum. I had no idea it would go over this good.
I would love that list!

Just thought I'd finally include a couple of additional pics as my corner has gotten a little more mine.

Costabro,
I am envious of such a nice collection. I love the DE's I have a soft spot for them. the picture is great you have a great space.
Hello Mick,
Thanks for looking. I can say that I made my strops. all of those you see are my seconds or where I am playing with a design. I don't want to send them out or throw them away so, I keep them. I do custom leather work for the cowboy action shooting crowd. I mostly use my drops from 3" holster belts or mule rigging. I have a side of English bridle that a customer ordered that they never picked up that I do alot of my strops out of.
Isn't it funny that when you make the things, you only seem to have the lesser ones for yourself. I have three of my own and not a one of them is what I would have considered sale worthy. I have the first one I ever made and two others made from what I considered to be too short a strap of leather for selling. One live permanently out at my shack on the farm, one for daily use and the other is a narrow travel strop kept at home for the 'just in cases's' in life. :)

Mick, That is the exact boat that I am in. "The cobblers kids had no shoes" & The leather worker has only seconds at his house. :)
