Is that a lipstick I see on the top shelf or a shotgun shell?
:dropjaw:
Seriously, what does SWMBO have to say about your shrine?!?

July 2014. It's been almost two years since I posted this. It's all the same set up and the same 17 razors (I think). Shave every two or three days. So in that time I've used each razor an average of, call it, a dozen times. In that almost 700 days, I've refreshed the razors once. And not to the stones, just cro-ox, .15 diamond paste followed by .25 diamond paste followed by the pasted leather strop. Use both sides of the hanging strop before each shave.
Figure in another year or two I'll get the 12k out and start over.
Nice, Pixel - how often does each one get used? :P
Never, thats my sales stock.

Figured I'd update my shave den.
Holds hones strops razors building supplies projects... The whole works... Also a nice way to display some. I use a pipe stand for the 6 out of rotation days and the brush stand to hold the razor of the day! The tobacco jar I use for trash like DE wrappers and blades and personna blades and boxes (it's pretty empty lol). On the wall next to it there's a hook to hang a strop from while using. I don't use the drawer it's hanging on lol best part is... it was free and I didn't have to build anything!
Damn pics are sideways... sorry.
Beginner's shave den. :)

Not got an actual den, but just got this off a barber friend. Will soon be converted to store my stuff. Needs refinished first. Will lower the shelves and put some pins at the top to sit my razor collection on. Going to make it look old fashioned, but keep the modern LEDs for a nice twist on the old style

Not quite the den here as well. Just 2 shelves in my ever shrinking medicine cabinet devoted to all things shave related. My homemade razor display has room for 4 more but kind of waiting for the shop/garage to warm to a tolerable temperature before adding more. Nearly all my scales are handmade.
Here's how mine looks today . . . more is on the way.
