Warm lather on 2nd and 3rd pass. Grooves whip lather like a rented mule. An outstanding product. For those on the fence, buy it.

Congrats. I love mine and absolutely despise shaving without it. Wife got it for me for this past Birthday and it is without a doubt one of the best presents she has ever bought me.
