Was looking for a travel kit/case and stumbled upon a vintage one on eBay.
What I am wondering is what this tall skinny bottle would have been used for. The cap only presses on lightly so would not hold any liquid.

Toothbrush storage?
I like the Toothbrush holder idea. Maybe that is what it will become.

Syptic pencil storage? Those things probably break pretty easy while traveling.
My guess would also be styptic powder or pencil but it easily could be a travel toothbrush, though unless it has holes in the cap you will want it to be completely dry before storing.
