I have a F&B it was immaculate, mint, untouched... And after I bought it, I discovered why... a crack in the blade. Yes, yes, I know, I could put something nicer in such pretty scales, but then its not a "restoration" its a "customization" for some reason my brain gives me grief about it...

Perhaps you can partner-up with another member for the rest of the 4 blades?

Okay, I'll share my story. 2 years ago this past June I took a leak and filled up the urinal with blood and clots. It was a bit of a shock but I had kidney stones before so I went to see my doctor who did blood work. Yep, he says, looks consistent with stones. Let's do a CAT scan to see what we need to do. Called me into his office to review results. Wife and I go and when he walked.in I was joking with him. So am I going to live, but he wasn't laughing. He says I feel sure you're going to live but that's not kidney stones. You have a mass the size of a racket ball on your left kidney. Go to see the urologic surgeon and he says I'll tell you straight. That's cancer. When you have a mass that size with that much bleeding it's cancer every time. Long story short I was lucky. They caught it before it spread. Even though I lost a kidney and had an anaphylactic reaction to a med which put me in ICU for 5 days I had lots of support from family, friends and my church. Lots of guys don't have that. I honestly don't know how you hold on to hope in their situation.
I also have a family member with depression that fights with it and suicidal thoughts. Guys, I never dreamed this could all happen to me or my family member. None of us do. My family is large and a rock of support. I thank God for the blessings I have been granted but I also know that it's not right that people without it should have nowhere to turn. We have a chance to help them and give them that hope. It's the least I can do. Remember, it could be any of us. Think of what it means to have something to fall back on when you have no one. We can offer them that.
Who will help me provide this for someone in need?

I have a buddy who drug his feet and did not get in in time. He is doing ton's better, been through the wringer.
No bladder or small intestine anymore. Happy to be done with chemo for a while.
Been helping him with some ridiculous projets. Good to help him through as I can.

The guy should be dead but for treatment and stubborn self-preservation.
Advancements from charities such as this would not have helped him as diagnosed, but early detection would have.
He is grateful for his chance. Get checked and esp if you have a problem, guys.
