I find it much easier to use a film camera. Digital cameras are always an chase to upgrade to the new and latest. Film is plain and simple and I don’t need a million different accessories so shoot a good picture.
Just to update my 2016 post, I have to say I sold all my old film gear. Getting on in age and not wanting to leave them for someone else to have to dispose of after I am gone.

A million accessories? the reality is quite the opposite all you need is a Digital Camera and memory card, as opposed to a reel of film then you need either to invest in a darkroom or send your film away at cost with a very hit and miss quality prints once your print returns, the facts are plain to see film cameras are no longer relevant just walk into any large camera store.
I agree that film is not something you find easy in any large camera store. I still think digital is way more expensive, you still need a computer and not to mention how much time people spend post processing. I spent 150 bucks on film and chemicals and I have more than enough to shoot for the next few years.
The first outing this morning with my ultra-wide-angle lens, I'm very pleased with the performance considering it's a totally manual lens you must set the aperture and manually focus everything before you shoot, took these few shots while out walking the dogs this morning, I need to to have a bit more time with this lens so I can get the best out of it, overall impressions are an excellent great lens for architecture and landscapes.
Which lens did you get Jamie?

Yupper, looks to be an excellent lens all things considered. You are going to have fun exploring it's uses.

A few more test shots from the new ultra-wide-angle lens, pleasing results, hope to get some interior shots at some point in the near future.
