Well close it comes in two versions 151 proof and 190 proof which would probably run an Indy car without a problem. I can tell you from experience that everclear 190 is absolutely tasteless in fact the moment it hits the heat of your mouth it almost instantly evaporates. if you did a shot of that stuff I wouldn't light a cigarette soon afterwards. But seriously that product in my mind is only useful if you want to say craft a liqueur or some kind of cordial because it doesn't impart any of its own flavor and therefore cut it with whatever flavoring you want. Here i'll give you an example my grandma used to make this sour cherry liqueur, fill a gallon jar with whole sour cherries and cane sugar let macerate for 3-4 weeks then fill the jar up with Everclear let infuse for another few weeks and strain the whole mess into another jar. You will wind up with a liqueur of about 80- 90 proof or so. This stuff is quite popular in eastern Europe.
