Thanksgiving Dinner
My local supermarket chain -- Publix -- was out of turkey parts... for over a week (who shops earlier than that?). So, it's roasted chicken thighs and turkey sausage... with red potatoes, sweet potatoes, and Brussels sprouts... drizzled with MUSA maple syrup. Looks good... smells even better. Halftime in the Lions v. Bears "sleeper", so lemme dig in!

Verdict: Delicious! If my ex-wives would've (could've?) done this, I might still be married :rofl2:

I will be at work. But i will get plenty of left overs for tomorrows lunch and diner. If i can find a microwave. Its just how it goes. It hasnt bothered me in many years. You all have a great one.

We are doing this version of a Spatchcock Turkey for dinner today
Cold and wet outside, warm cozy Woodstove going inside :)
Just the wife and I this year, no lonely heart friends, and no puppies to share dinner with

Yea, the older I get the less I want to do. Just an already cooked Costco Turkey Breast and some boxed stuffing and a frozen Pie. The only thing I make scratch are Parkerhouse rolls.
Just me the missus, my son and the Husky.

Nothing wrong with that. I love stovetop boxed stuffing. Keep it simple and the wife is happier. I know when i get home and find my thanksgiving diner it will be made into a casserole. The wife puts all the makings in layers like a shepard pie for me. Work out great in the truck and the flavors are even better on the second day. Yummmm.
