That looks like a treat I never had that one but I have tried Bishops Finger by the same brewery when I was in London. Good Ale as I recall.

Yes its a nice ale to warm you up in the festive season.
Shepards Neame also make an ale called Spitfire to commemorate the Battle of Britain, the ad for it with the slogan "Spitfire, leaves no Nazi aftertaste" was banned!
Today my Beer is a Moritz Fiege Gründer Export.
Gründer means Founder in german and should show the brewer made this beer dedicated to the popular beers around the founding time of Moritz Fiege around the Year 1878.
Instead of the more common Pilsener Beers and Blond Bavarian Ales the Fiege is a typical worker beer as brewed for around 100 Years and longer in the Ruhr Area.
It has less hope and is sweet, much wort but blonde in the glass, the alcohol is with 5,1 % not much but this beer allways calls for a second and a third so i have to be aware to drink that one too much.
