Sams aint skunky...but I do like them
I stopped in at O'Mally's Pub today in Old Sacramento. Decided to try a Murphys Stout, I usually stick to Guinness. Very close to Guinness in a lot of ways, but I'll stay with Guinness.

Currently, I have Heineken residing in my pint pot.
The Aussies will crucify me for this but, hey, I'm drinking oil cans today and the Bucs won. Go Bucs!

Today I finished off the last of the beer I brought home from Brugge :(
It was a Straffe Hendrik 11% that I got at the Halve Mann brewery. Lovely dark beer with a strong kick to it.
I am already Planning my next trip to Brugge

Consider the source Ed. Not only am I an American, I'm a Southerner. In my book Fosters (along with Red Stripe) qualifies as some of that high brow import stuff :) Sam Adams, Yuengling, and Amberbock are all considered somewhat fancy in my beer world. Pabst Blue ribbon and Coors Banquet Beer are my usual go to's. Both come in at less than a buck a beer but are fairly drinkable nonetheless. I guess what I'm saying is that by my redneck standards even Aussie taste in beer is a bit high brow. Cheers Mate!
