I've got the 1805 shaving cream and it is pretty good. I have always been curious as to their balms, so I recently went on a fact finding mission - I found that their balms are full of parabens. Not that it will put me off, but with mixed feeling about it (in this thread among others), I will approach with caution.
My current favourite balm is Weleda's After Shave Balm which paired with MdC or Castle Forbes shave cream works unbelievably well for my skin type.

I received a sample of the stuff with an order several months ago...guess it's time to give it a try!

I've been using the 1805 for a few days now. I like it. Wouldn't really say it has ascent at all. Just smells "lotiony" to me, but with all of the other scents competing in my daily routines, it's no big deal. It does a good job moisturizing my face, which is really what I'm interested in.

I use the Trafalgar,,,love it,,,,my favorite balm by far. I wish I could use it everyday, but the price prohibits that.

Thanked: 12Truefitt and Hill Classic Aftershave Balm is a winter staple in my rotation. Tried all their line and this is the best. A light scent, excellent cold weather performance, and the 200 ml bottle lasts several seasons. I have several other brands in rotation but this one I will not go without. Highly recommended.
