Actually, it's just light mineral oil (paraffin), some nut oils and botanicals. It's used for a lady's stretch marks and chaffed... um... places but I use it for severely dry skin on my hands, and it works well. (No unflattering inferences, please.) ;)
I use oil as a post shave treatment and before applying the after shave. I use extravirgin olive oil and argan oil, depending on what I like in that particular moment.
To me they offer an excellent skin soothing and care treatment, leaving it soft, smooth and well treated. It is well known oil's vitamins are good for the skin, tocopherol in particular.
Using olive oil as a posts shave was our grandfather's way to end a shave. It was in fact my grandfather who taught me that. I use it and it works very well.
My wife used it on her tummy after childbirth. Other than that I cant help, but if you like having a face like a ladies tummy then don't let me stop you. :)
