    Default No love for Myrsol?

I've acquired about three different varieties of Myrsol lately and I really love them all as aftershaves. But there doesn't seem to be much attention to paid to them around here. Anyone else enjoying these? If ind them perfect when you want a refreshing splash that isn't going to double as a cologne. The scents drop off quickly so you can whatever scent you want for the day or not. The a Formula K has a strong mint/menthol sensation but the lemon and balsamic water also have a touch of menthol as well. Anyone else out there into these? Got a favorite?

I beg to differ OCD. There are any number of members who use Myrsol--in all of its varieties here. I myself use the Forumla K (Green). Other use the F Extra, Blue and the pre-post Emulsion. Check out the weekly SOTD threads and you'll see.

I agree that they are nice, refreshing aftershaves.

A quick search of "Myrsol" gave four pages of threads, including quite a few dozen entries in SOTD. So yes, it does seem to get a lot of love

I did a quick search and the only threads that seemed to mention it were the SOD threads. No discussion about it otherwise. Have you tried the F extra? My shave today was with Tcheon Fung Sing hard dragon soap and Myrsol lemon. Nice refreshing combo. But I may have to give the F extra a try.

You're correct. There is no specific thread devoted to Myrsol here, as far as I know. I was referring to interest in/frequency of its use. I believe that there was some discussion in one of the threads about its qualities. One of the SRP European members even visited the owner's establishment, met him and came back home with a variety of fragrances.

The only Myrsol aftershave I've used is the Formula K. Haven't tried the F Extra, but have been thinking about getting some in the future. You can read about them here:

What's the scent on Plastic like? I've only heard it described as "unusual" or "strange". I guess it's hard to pin down but what's your description of what it smells like?

Sort of a cherry cough drop, vintage plastic from the 60's/70's. It is light and doesn't hang around too long. Almost NyQuil like but not quite that far. Makes your skin feel great after a shave.
