Can you feel your hands yet, or were you wearing rubber gloves when applied lol.
I love it too!
Did the vapors burn your eyes too? :rofl2: Strong stuff--great in the summer months!
That's on my list to try as I'm a menthol lover. I like Godrej Menthol Mist Cream, which is way more menthol coolness than Proraso. SO I'm thinking I'd like the Osage, and am also considering the Alcolado Glacial.
That stuff be horse liniment. They love it.:)
i wonder.. which is stronger.. osage rub or the alcolado?
That stuff really kicks, but I like it also.
deb just got me some the other day.. it was a bit surprising to say the least but I might could get use to it
I use it too. It does make the eyes water a bit, but it sure feels good on the skin after a nice shave. They use it at the old fashioned barber shop where I get my hair cuts.
I love Osage Rub. I use it during the summer and during the winter. Nothing beats Osage Rub and then walking under an air conditioning vent, though.
Osage has a permenant spot in my post shave routine, which, though seemingly complex, is worth a try.
After rinsing, I do a rub with an alum block. Gives good feedback, closes pores and stops bleeders if there are any. I then putz around with the equipment...rinsing the bursh etc.
Facial treatment resumes with a cold water rinse, followed by a liberal application of with hazel, then the Osage Rub. Can get a good burn going on some days! I follow this with some Nivea scentless balm.
Wait, not done yet. Lastly...cologne of the day.
Now, while this sounds like alot....it works. The Osage scent does not last long....I'm left with the scent of my cologne.
And the cold rinse, witch hazel, osage and balm applications happen back to back and so quickly.....
Left with my old ugly face....but damn my skin is good.
I might just have to try this stuff for myself.
I really like Osage Rub. I don't care for scent heavy products and I find it soothing.
I would love to try it but the shipping online is outrageous!
Any brick & mortars that carry it?
mine here does not.
I think SRD carries it. I got a free bottle the other day after honing a few razors for the local barber college--they liked the edges so much (Oozuku!) that he gave me a free bottle! :)
I think it's worth noting that if you're inclined to shave your head before going to sleep at night, refrain from applying Osage Rub on your head. You'll get a 'brain freeze' effect that just might keep you awake for a while.
Osage rub really is supercharged. Sadly, it is too strong for me.
Use some Headslick and then go for the osage rub. I imagine that would be one hell of a menthol blast.
Disclaimer: I've not yet tried osage rub.
