I've bought some Clubman Talc and when I use it I tend to look like a snowman!
What's the proper procedure for using this stuff? Doesn't it destroy the aromatic benefits of aftershave?

You can get the flesh colored kind :)
I don't use it on my face. I'll apply a little to the back of my neck to help keep chaffing at bay... also really helps when I shave the back of my neck. (I wear collared shirts/ties a lot).
Other than that, a bit in the pits to help keep dry and a little down under to keep the boys happy... really helps in the summer. :p
And it's great for swamp derriere as well.
Just don't make a cloud when you use it. It's not good to breathe. In the old days barbers put it on a brush and applied it after a haircut to the back of your neck.
It's also good to put on your feet before you put your socks and shoes on.
You can buy a talc brush at a beauty supply shop.. put a little talc on the brush to cover your neck and a little on the face to take the "shinny-sheen" on your face... and other areas needing a dusting
I just use an old brush to kind of dust it on. I don't use powder all the time just every now and then.
