Hot towels sound like a real treat, i see them in my distant future and a scuttle .. Can't wait
I keep mine at 130+ and ignore the "guidelines." Plumbers I know and trust have all told me the same thing - 120 and below just breeds some bad stuff in those tanks. We all love it, love having to use less hot to get a comfortable shower, clean dishes, etc. I use it straight to soak my towels. On a stressful day, I'll add a few drops of lavender oil and I'm in heaven.
Wow as a cold water shaver for over 8 years, with no intention of going back to a warm towel, water etc
due to irritation, I am both envious and lost for a response to this post.
Let alone looking at needing a microwave in my bathroom to shave lol
You tend to jump in with both feet on a new hobby, I’ve been there and done that. First buying everything , soaps razors strops and other stuff, oh don’t forget honing stuff. For me the hobby aspect wore off soon cause I knew in the beginning it’s just shaving but cool to get all the crap. A long shave session with all the trimmings was absolutely glorious.
Fast forward to about 6 months after I started, I’m really good at shaving with one and can get me a bbs shave in 5-10 minutes, cold water and done no prep. So it’s a luxury that is quite nice and I still do it once in a while, but definitely not needed.
It’s just shaving
I have barber towels I bought for this specific purpose plus for the decor of the shave station. They're the herring bone weave with the green stripe down the middle. I must admit that I don't really use hot towels very often, almost never really. It is a nice touch though if you like the treatment. I took my son once for a barber shave and a haircut. It was some occasion which I don't recall but she gave him the whole treatment.

Interesting that a shave and a haircut cost $25. 100 times what it cost when the tune was made
Sharpton should pull up the pic of a 12 year old girl giving him a shave
