Just a little update regarding my Steam Cooker test!
If I'm honest, the results were not as I were expecting. I first tried a dry towel in the steam cooker for 15 minutes, when the 15 minutes were up the towel was initially hot but rapidly cooled so it would not be of any use. Seeing as a dry towel didn't work I went with the wet towel approach, I saturated the towel and then wrung all excess water out of it 'till it was damp, again I put it in the steam cooker for another 15 minutes, the results this time were better, the towel stayed hotter for a bit longer but not long enough to achieve the desired effect!
Personally, I beleive the best way of 'steaming' a towel is to do it how Obie said in the previous post!
