Ive heard of people shaving with conditioner too. Never tried it though.
It really works for me, you must to prove it!
I've got to give this a shot... that and clean my brush with shampoo while I'm in there. :)
It works amazingly. Alittle for my head and alittle for my beard, makes the hairs nice and silky so no drag. Definitely better then any preshave oil Ive tried.
Volumizing shampoo works even better, it makes the hair spread out.
Yep, this little trick works really well. Glad you're having success with it..! :)
Yes, conditioner works well, but I stopped using it a while back because my face was being over-processed. Conditioners, preshaves, multiple latherings, post shaves, aftershaves, toners - you get my drift. It seemed like my already-sensitive skin was becoming a bit oily with the odd bit of acne here and there, so I stopped using the conditioner and the problems went away.
Like I said, conditioner does work, but IMHO my Proraso pre/post does the same thing.
Bob,
Not a bad decision--if you have an especially stubborn or coarse beard.
Conditioner is a good an inexpensive alternative. May I suggest using Proraso pre/post shave cream, it has eucaliptus oil, it is one product that I use in every shave.
