Do you have a soap or a cream?
The only thing I can think of would be:
1) Wet your face
2) Apply some cream or rub the soap bar on your face
3) Rub vigourously with your wetted hands
You'll get a sort of lathery soapy mess if you do that, and it'll sort of work, but it wont be anything like as good as you'll get with a proper brush.
Do you have one of those baking brushes that bakers and pastry chefs use to brush egg white on a pie? That could work better, as could a small fine haired paint brush.
None of these methods will be as good as your brush, but they're better than nothing.
Good luck!
Soaps like that are designed to be used with a brush. I would just go and pick up a cheapie in Walgreens for a few bucks to use in the meantime or get some brushless shaving cream. You could just shave with water too for a few days.
Hello, Sportguy:
I, too, recommend picking up a something from the local pharmacy, Nivea shave cream, for instance, and making do until your brush arrives.

+1 to thebigspender.
Walmart, or your local pharmacy should carry VDH (Van Der Hagen) brushes, and they work quite well for the cost.
That's the brushes I use right now, until I get finances back on track, and then I plan on making my own with a nice silvertip knot ;)
I was about to say that Nivea shaving cream works ok, but Obie got first.
Splash some warm water into your face, add just a little bit of Nivea, and rub it with your fingertips.
Use a wash cloth. Assuming you have milled or glycerin soap, use a wash cloth with the highest nap you have (fluffiest). Bunch it into a ball so you have a 2 inch pad to work with. Wet your face down, moisten the cloth but you do not want it dripping wet. Give it a few swirls on your soap then swirl it around your face. It should work up a light lather. Nothing like a brush, but if you have nothing, it is better than that.
Method shaving has a process of using a wash cloth for developing lather. The products used in Method shaving are expensive, but the technique could be used with shaving soap and cream.

Try SOS or Brillo, they both have the soap right in them
(just kidding)
You could pick up a cheap brush for $6 or $7 at Wal-Mart or CVS while you wait. I did this and I keep the cheap one to use for travel. If it gets left in the hotel, it's no big loss.
