Default How many shaves with a sample?

Hi - I just bought around 20 Mama Bear samples. I just love the scents so far. How many shaves should I expect to get out of one of the sample slivers? I feel like I'm being too stingy trying to get them to last

They are your slivers, you do with them as you wish. Just make sure you are adequately lubricating your face, that's all. Parsimony is fine, but not at the expense of a good shave.

As to how long a sliver will last, I imagine that will be fairly user-specific though I cannot imagine them lasting a long time. After all, they are samples. The manufacturer presumably wants to give you a "taste" and have you coming back for the real thing sooner rather than later.

I imagine it depends on the type of sample and how much is given. I've never tried Mama Bear or any of their samples, so I have no idea how much Sue provides. But I do still have some samples from TGQ (when Colleen was still operational) that are around 3 years old and have managed to eke out several shaves from each. Ditto from various samples of shave creams.

By contrast, I've had some samples of aftershave balm that only lasted 2 applications, so YMMV.

If I like the sample, then as many as I can get. Seems to vary: 1-3. If I don't care for it, then one's enough.

I just got my Momma Bear samples Wednesday. I used the saddlewood/vanilla. It is awesome. I still have probably 2 shaves left with it. It's hard to choose which one to use cause they all smell so great.

these samples are really aggrivating me! It seems so hard to get a consistent lather with them. I got a ton of them and I LOVE the smell but I hold them in the palm of my hand to load the brush and I don't know why but I find them very hard to use. Gotta be a better way...

I agree. Got a bunch of wedge samples from SRD. WTH do I put these in? Is there a way to melt these things down?
