Proraso Preshave

I just got some Proraso preshave from SRD and I am extremely pleased with the product. The razor now glides across my face, and after two shaves I think that small nicks and cuts hopefully are a thing of the past. Excellent product definitely worth a try. Also, I don't know if it makes a difference, but I use Proraso shave soap, too.

I have used it since day 1 of my journy into traditional wet shaving...I love it so much and will not shave without it. I have a tub of the new formula as well and it is great stuff too!

I haven't used this before. How does it compare to a pre-shave oil?

I used some last night. I have the full Proraso green line. Quality gear. Very minty and refreshing. I think it's slicker than my Pacific pre shave oil

Agreed good stuff, WONT shave with out it. I use before and after shower before I shave, gets my wiskers nice and soft.

Great stuff. I used oil before I found Proraso. Gave away the oil.

I never got much out of their pre-shave stuff. I get better results using Bigelow's Menthol Hair Conditioner - same cooling, better glide.

I consider Proraso more of a skin conditioner, rather than a "glide" product. You can't compare it to oil or similar products because I don't think that glide is its intended purpose. But I could be wrong.....
