Default Recommend a cream for me.

I am new...but I have tried a hand full of soaps and creams and I really like the ease and speed that I can build a nice pillowy lather with a cream. I tried Proraso red on a whim as my first cream and WOW did I really like it. Then someone said (I forget who) wait til you try Tabac. Before my order of Tabac arrived, my wife surprised me with a tube of Bigelow from Bath and Body works (basically a Proraso product re-badged)...it was a nice menthol-ish cream.

Then Tabac arrived and I love it. The glide is fantastic, it is nice and pillowey (I believe they call this "cushion"?). The smell is OK, but I could go for something a little more interesting.

Anyway, I am in need of ordering some more cream in the near future as I am nearly out of 2 of the 3 tubes I mentioned above.

Anyone want to offer a suggestion for something brilliant?

I have a tub of TOBS Jerymn St.
I love it alot..it is meant for sensitive skin but even if you dont have that issue I think it is a great cream..
Great cushion, nice pillow peaks when made.
I also like the scent of it so I have no qualms about recommending it to someone else.
    Hope it helps a bit

Art of Shaving Lavender is great, but expensive.
I like Nomad cream best, but is hard to find.
I have some Maca Root which is nice also.

Here are some of the soaps I've tried, and I think most if not all are available in a cream, La Toja, Palmolive, Prep, DR Harris Arlington and Lavender, Speick. My favorite is La Toja, all work equally well and smell great....

I've been a big fan of Musgo Real. To made, it's got a classic barber shop smell that I remember from many years ago. Another good every day cream is Trumpers almond and Razorock Classic. But while I use the soap version, my favorite is DR Harris Marlborough.

    Unit:
Here are some prominent names in creams: Castle Forbes, Xpec, Geo F Trumper, Truefitt & Hill, D.R. Harris, Institute Karite, Santa Maria Novella, Cella, Penhaligon, Edwin Jagger, Vulfix, Taylor of Old Bond Street, Musgo Real, among others. They offer a variety of scents, and their sites provide some description of the specific scent. Most importantly, their products are quality.
