Nice shave even with the stop at full lather to take a phone call from Germany (no rest for the wicked as they say) my eyes where watering by the time that was over...

Yep! Got me some of that Yeti Snot; thought my face was going to freeze up and I was going to have to chisel my beard off, made my eyes water and sure did loosen those sinus's up. The best I can explain how cold this stuff is........fall face first into a foot of snow and stay there for 5 - 10 minutes......its that cold! I think I'll try mine again next summer when the weather warms up, should feel nice after a long, hot day doing yard work......
I have a sample that I tried 1x... I will set it up for next Monday, maybe it has off-gassed a bit...that stuf has WMD written all over it.
Vostok is brisk, refreshing....
Yeti Snot is as subtle as a pistol in your face...to borrow from a line from Muddy Waters....

Upon waking this morning I face washed with some Noxzema. Then I used my 24mm boar brush to face lather Stirling's Glacial Wintergreen Shave Soap. My incredibly close shave came from my only razor, a Razor Rock Mission loaded up with a well used but still sharp Astra blade. To lock in the face icicles I used one of my favorites, Aqua Velva Blue followed up with Stirling's Margaritas in the Arctic post shave balm. Thirteen hours later and I can still touch my face and feel a cold blast.
This Glacial Wintergreen is slowly becoming one of my favorites. Using it this morning made the razor feel like a seal sliding down a snow covered slope. So smooth. Then followed up with the usual cast of characters, Aqua Velva Blue and Margaritas in the Arctic balm. What a fantastic shave this morning.
Cheers,
John
Country Club Souther Oud today. I am really liking it. It goes very well with my Stirling Ozark Mountain shave soap.
