Brut has the smell of a "Working Mans Cologne", no Gucci Loafers, Thousand Thread Count Sheets, or two hundred dollar neck ties for guys who wear this stuff. I like the smell of Brut.
I like to keep a bottle of Brut around, sometimes I'll have a splash on days when I don't shave. As for that ad though.......:hmmm:
I love Brut. My favourite cologne bar none. The wife likes it too. I splash it on all over and feel like I could wrestle a bear!
I have it on good account the bear uses it too.
If I didn't already use BRUT, this ad might have kept me from trying it.

To me that describes Old Spice (original maker) and Aqua Velva both in the 50s and 60s. Then when I was in HS (60s) the move started to, at least in my opinion, less manly fragrances ....English Leather, Canoe, Musk, etc. I'm still basically most fond of the old time scents that my dad wore and were my first....but I'm old :D which beats the alternative.
