Default Trumper coral skin food bottle size and application

ok, this is my first geo f trumpers purchase. I bought the coral skin food because everyone I have viewed who posed on this subject, said it was great. Although, I was shocked at the size of the bottle. It is a bit bigger than the bottles of liquor in a hotel. If i was drinking this thing, I could drink it all in 2 gulps lol.....

How much in my hand should I use when applying, and how long should I expect this to last ?

This is GOOD stuff! Make sure your hands are damp, and use about a pea size dollop. I usually apply while my face is still wet. I have found that if I apply it to my face dry, it feels "gummy".

That's because one of the main ingredients is gum tragacanth, which is most often used for sealing and burnishing the edges of leather.

I got a 500ml bottle from GFT for for around $46.00 USD about 2 months ago and I havent even made a dent in that bottle yet. At the current rate it will last me a few years....

A little goes a long way. About a pea sized amount rub hands together and apply. Don’t try to rub it in. Leave it wet on your face. You will actually feel your skin drink this stuff in and your face will feel tight. Feels fantastic after a shave. Been using it 25 years at least. I also use Gea F Trumper Almond Glycerin soap in a wood bowl. Produces a thick lather and last a long time. Doesn’t dry on your face.

A couple of drops is enough. In my experience, one small bottle (200cc) usually lasts two-two and a half years.

I’ve used Coral Skin Food for over 20 years. I’ve just added a new wrinkle. Immediately after my post shave hot towel I splash on some Thayer Lavender Witch Hazel which is alcohol free and feels great on my face. While my face is still damp with Witch Hazel I apply the Coral Skin Food. The combination feels fantastic.

I also had one of those giant sized bottles and it just seemed to get bigger and bigger. After a few years of every day use I decided it was just making my face sticky no matter how little I used. Also after a time the stuff will deteriorate in the bottle. I probably pitched almost half of mine.
