Gilbert Henry Bay Rum splash is outstanding, and very similar to Barberry Coast. Even the bottle is identical.:hmmm:
Big rush of traditional God-fearing bay rum and citrus scent on the first splash, then it dries down to a complex, soft mix of bay and sandalwood. Barberry dries down to bay, cinnamon, and vanilla, but the vibe is very similar between the two - soft and complex after the first blast. Both have lots of good toning and moisturizing ingredients. Neither last as long as I wish they did, but you can't have everything.
The kicker is that Gilbert Henry Bay Rum splash is almost half the price of Barberry Coast. :beer1:
