One of the Local Freds is closing , went in and they had 5 bottles of Freds new spice by vi jon smells just like the original formula old spice. Bought all 5 for about the same price as 1 bottle of the new formula stuff.

Cool. Always great when you can find good deals. Hope it is as good as you think it is. That's what matters the most.
    It's just Sharpening, right?

I don’t really know that there is much difference, been using old spice since 1966 the new stuff is still the same it’s a cheap splash that doesn’t have much quality just something to put on every day use. To be honest Aqua Velva Blue ice isn’t the exact same formula now either cause things change with the FDA all the time, but it’s still a good cheap after shave. But if you really are that sensitive that it makes a difference, then not sure why your using cheap stuff to start with.

The formula Was Changed . There are alot of people who will agree with me about this fact. The new formula does Not Smell like the old formula. I like the old smell , it has nothing to do with sensitivity.

Got out the old bottle and a new one, old lasts longer, only thing I could tell other than the new had a longer alcohol sting. But hey use what you like, at 4$ a bottle you can take a bath with it, 10$ more and have something that is much better. And to be fair I doubt you’ve used it longer than me so I’m pretty sure I know the difference too, and I don’t find it enough to say it matters. It’s cheap and is gone in a couple hours anyway. I like my aftershave sent to stay with me for the day

The hunt for "vintage" never ends, does it? Just picked up some 80s Old Spice "soap on a rope" One for myself, and the other to give to my nephew to present to his dad for Fathers Day (the exact same thing we gave to Our dad way back when)

You know what? It doesn't matter to me if you can't tell the difference between the original formula and the new formula because I bet if you did a simple thing called a search you would see you are in the minority of people who can't tell the difference. There are plenty of others who have stated it is different which is why people are getting the version from India and others because the original formula DID change. Well enough about that. I'm going back to the fun conversations about the challenges of finding old stuff we like. And also I know it's cheap I have plenty of after shaves that aren't so it's not about the price,it's about the hunt and the memories it brings out in most of us.. bye bye.

Cool. I was in a store yesterday and they had brand new travel kits that included the infamous soap on a rope. To be honest I didn't know they still made those until I saw it.
