There's the Collezione Barbiere version and the standard Colonia one.
I've been wondering which of these two have you tried and why? As Acqua don't give free samples (at least not around here), I am not sure which one I should go for.

Do you already have both colognes? If so, pick the aftershave of the one you prefer. If you don't have any of the AdP colognes, you might want to check the Colonia Intensa gift box Holiday Gift Sets for Men. The Intensa box is the about the same price as the cologne by itself and comes with the a tube of matching aftershave and shower gel. BTW, the Intensa is the AdP scent that I prefer.
Both products that I mentioned in the original post relate to the original 'Colonia' scent. That's the one I prefer.
I haven't tried either of the ones you mentioned. I do have the AdP Colonia Intensa balm and it is a thicker balm. It works well but may be a bit heavy during the summer. There is some info on the ones you mentioned at Acqua Di Parma. It looks like the Colonia Barbiere has a splash and balm version and the Colonia is a lighter gel. Given the lighter scent of Colonia, I might prefer the gel particuarly during the summer months.
Thanks for posting that very useful link, Chris.
I had no idea the standard 'Colonia' balm was more of a gel. In that case, I am decided - though I'd prefer the balm of the Collezione range as it's better for me in the winter months. I agree though a gel would be best suited to the summer - I have Coral Skin Food for the warmer months :D
There's also the Collezione Barbiere After Shave Cream as well. It comes in a jar just like the shaving cream and it's just basically a cream.
