    Default Col. Conk toiletries...

Well since I played golf today it looks like I'll be going to the mall tomorrow with the wife and kids. The good news is there is a Tinder Box there and they carry the Col. Conk line. Thinking about picking up a couple of aftershaves and maybe a soap or two. Any recommendations?

I have the Col. Conk's amber soap in my rotation. The scent is nice, certainly not overbearing, and lathers well. I want to try their Almond and Bay Rum, however my local Tinder Box doesn't carry the soaps.

All the local Tinder Box had was almond and lime soaps, so I picked up a cake of each. They smell nice, and I am looking forward to trying them out. On the way home from the mall we made a pit stop at Walgreens, and I found something I'd been looking for. Florida Water by Murray & Lanman. I've heard guys here say good things about it and the price was right, so I picked up a couple bottles. I like the smell - clean, floral, and a bit antiseptic. It says COLOGNE though, so I did a little googling, to see if maybe I picked up the wrong one. I like aftershaves I can splash on and thought this might be too strong. 40% alcohol though, so I think it will be fine. Guess what I found though? Apparently this stuff is also (maybe mostly) used in voodoo, black magic, that sort of thing. Check this out.. http://www.luckymojo.com/floridakanangawater.html
Anyway, it smells nice. Just hope I don't piss off any spirits by splashing it on my face :?

You can pick up Florida Water at some Wal Mart stores. It is not kept with the fragrances, but rather with the ladies bath soaps.
